How payments work
Last updated October 30, 2026
Draft, pending review. Fundify isn’t taking payments yet. This page describes how giving will work at launch.
Fundify helps families share a young person’s journey with the people who care about them most. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and family friends can chip in each month toward lessons, gear, entry fees and travel. Here’s how that works.
Where the money goes
- 1. A supporter givesMonthly or once, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, on the young person’s page.
- 2. The payment processor handles itCard details go straight to the processor. Fundify never sees or stores full card numbers.
- 3. The parent receives itPaid out to the bank account of the verified parent or guardian who runs the page.
Contributions go to the family, not to Fundify. Fundify is software run by BEAH Enterprises, Inc.; family contributions are not deposited into its business bank account.
For supporters
Monthly or one-time
Monthly is the default, because steady support helps families plan. You can also give once. You choose the amount, from $1 to $10,000.
Receipts
We email you a receipt after every gift.
Bank checks
Some banks ask you to confirm a payment, for example with a code or your banking app. Your gift only goes through once your bank confirms it.
Changing or stopping monthly support
Choose Supporter Login on the page. We email you a 6-digit code to sign in; then you can change your monthly amount or cancel. Cancelling stops future payments; it doesn’t refund past ones.
Not a charity
Contributions are personal gifts to a family. They are not donations to a charity and are not tax-deductible.
For parents
You own the account
Only a parent or legal guardian, 18 or older, can create a Fundify account and a page. Young people don’t have their own accounts and never handle payments or payouts. You decide what’s on the page and when it goes live.
Getting paid
Before a page can accept support, you verify your identity and add your bank account with our payment processor. Payouts go to that account on the processor’s schedule once verification is complete, so we can’t promise a specific timing.
Using the money
Support should go toward the activities described on the page. You’re responsible for how it’s used.
Thanking supporters
You see each supporter’s name, amount and any note they left, and can send them a thank-you from the app.
Fees
- No platform fees. Fundify doesn’t take any part of what supporters give.
- Card processing fee: your choice. When you give, you can cover the card fee (an estimate of about 2.9% plus 30¢, shown before you pay). Cover it and 100% of your gift reaches the family. If you don’t, the fee comes out of your gift. Your receipt shows exactly what was charged.
- Family subscription. Fundify plans to offer a paid subscription for families after a free period. Pricing isn’t final. We’ll show you the price and ask for your agreement before you’re ever charged. The current proposal is on Financial disclosures.
