Draft, pending legal review. Payment processing is not live yet. This page describes the arrangement Fundify intends to use, which is subject to approval by our payment processor.

1. Who operates Fundify

Fundify is a product of BEAH Enterprises, Inc., 990 Peachtree Industrial Blvd #2909, Suwanee, GA 30024. Contact: hello@beahinc.com.

2. What Fundify is, and isn’t

  • Fundify is software that lets a parent or legal guardian create a page for their child and receive recurring support from family and friends.
  • Fundify is not a charity or a nonprofit, and contributions are not charitable donations.
  • Contributions are personal gifts to the parent or guardian who runs the page, not payments to BEAH Enterprises, Inc..
  • Fundify is not a bank and does not hold accounts or balances for families.

3. How contributions are intended to move

  • A supporter authorizes a payment on the child’s page.
  • Our payment processor processes the card payment.
  • The contribution is transferred to the parent’s verified account with the processor and paid out to the parent’s bank account.
  • Family contributions are not deposited into BEAH Enterprises, Inc.’s business bank account, and BEAH Enterprises, Inc. does not distribute them by hand.
  • Fundify records each contribution, fee, refund and dispute so parents and supporters see accurate totals.

Until the payment processor confirms this arrangement in writing, Fundify does not accept contributions.

4. Payment processor

Card payments, identity checks for parents and payouts are handled by a third-party payment processor under its own terms, which we will name here before launch. Card numbers are entered into the processor’s secure fields; Fundify does not receive or store full card numbers.

5. Fees

  • Platform fee on contributions: none. Fundify does not take a percentage of contributions.
  • Card processing fees: when giving, a supporter can choose to add the estimated card fee (about 2.9% plus 30¢, shown before paying) so that 100% of the gift reaches the family. If they don’t, the fee is deducted from the gift. The estimate is based on standard US card pricing; if a card’s actual fee is higher, BEAH Enterprises, Inc. covers the difference. Receipts show the amount charged.
  • Family subscription: a separate monthly software fee BEAH Enterprises, Inc. may charge parents. It is billed separately from contributions and never deducted from them.

Family subscription: proposed pricing (not final)

Proposed family subscription pricing, not final
Contributions collected per monthProposed subscription
First six monthsFree
Under $300Free
$300 to $999$19.99/month (proposed)
$1,000 or more$49.99/month (proposed)

These prices are a proposal and may change. The planned rules: tiers use contributions actually collected, not pledged, averaged over three months; no paid plan starts without the parent’s agreement; parents are told before their first charge and before any price change; and cancelling or moving down a tier is available at any time.

6. Recurring payment authorization

When a supporter chooses monthly support, they authorize the payment processor to charge the amount shown to their card on the same day each month (or the last day of a shorter month) until they cancel. They receive a receipt for each payment and can change or cancel at any time: choose Supporter Login on the page and we email them a code. Cancelling stops future payments.

7. Refunds

Contributions are generally final, because they are passed on to the family. If you were charged by mistake or without your permission, contact us within 30 days and we will work with you and the payment processor to resolve it. See our Terms.

8. Disputes and chargebacks

A supporter can dispute a charge with their card issuer. Fundify provides its records to the payment processor to respond.

9. Taxes

  • Contributions are not tax-deductible.
  • Fundify and BEAH Enterprises, Inc. do not give tax advice.
  • Depending on volume, the payment processor or Fundify may be required to send a parent an IRS information return, such as Form 1099-K. Parents should ask a tax professional how this applies to them.
